Objective: Promote ZON’s new fiber optic full service access in the online medium and support the creative already being done above the line.

Idea: Develop a website that explains fiber optic in a more in-depth way, relating how ZON’s services (television, internet access and phone) interact under the new technological umbrella. The idea was to get the message across as soon and as simple as possible. To achieve that we deconstructed the television commercials into one single storyline that showed to the consumer the tip of the iceberg concerning the array of digital services being provided by ZON, leading him to explore the rest of the website.

Objective: Sumol is the leading portuguese soft drinks manufacturer. With the launch of its new product line, Sumol wanted to raise the level of it’s website by clearly marking the positioning of all the brands’ product lines and thus use the website as a means to really reach out and interact with their consumers.

Idea: Since we only had to deal with three different product lines, we decided to create a communicational concept for each, which resulted in the specific ways the consumer was interacted with. To achieve that, the art direction was developed in such a way that enabled us to substantiate the different concepts without ever losing track that they all belong to the same brand.

Problem/Brief: Sport TV is the biggest sports channel in Portugal and, as such, it is considered Premium by ZON, Portugal’s leading cable operator. SInce it costs extra, there’s a high rate of clients dropping out during the off seasons. Our objective was to develop a campaign to create brand loyalty to retain clients and keep them as paying costumers the entire year.


Idea: Since football is the number one sport in Portugal, we decided to use terminology associated with it to create the group that would later become known as the Winner’s League. Its purpose was solely to give away prizes in a weekly basis, much like the periodicity of the football matches. In return people only had to be ZON clients with a Sport TV’s active subscription. Through partnerships with companies such as Sony or BP, we managed to conjure up more than 125.000 unique prizes worth over a million euros.

Results: Not available. Still on going.

Idea: Develop a website that explains fiber optic in a way that the above the line creative didn’t and we did that by producing a series of web videos divided by chapters that told the story of “A day in the life of someone with ZON Wideband”. To reach the end of the story, the user had to interact with the video and explore the product.

Brief: In early 2008, the National Communications Authority organization issued a technical study showing that ZON was the fastest cable ISP in Portugal. The goal here was to pass that information to the general consumer.

Idea: People love their game shows. Whether it’s reality based or just common knowledge, these television shows are always a hit. Through a series of campaigns we showed consumers the advantages of having ZON as an ISP. This second campaign revolved around the “Guitar Hero” concept, where users had to show their skill catching all the downloads in the various internet access speeds provided by ZON.

Results: This second campaign had over 5.000 registered users, 10.500 plus games played, more than 20.500 invitations were sent from users that played the game. The website registered over 236.000 page-views and surpassed 34,000 unique users.
